Emma Lawson is Registered Psychotherapist (Q) with a Masters of Counselling Psychology.

Emma has extensive experience working with children in various settings. most favourably in play therapy. She focuses on supporting children experiencing behavioural issues, anxiety, low mood, eating and food issues, family changes, self esteem, self harm, power struggles, anger and aggression, ADHD, trauma, difficulty with transitions and more.
Emma offers specialized child counselling and play therapy for children ages 3-12. As a child-centered play therapist, she uses children’s natural language of play to access their inner and outer world in the most developmentally appropriate and least intrusive way. This non-directive approach provides children with the opportunity to address their needs at their own pace. Emma also has experience working with parents, equipping them with tools to improve child-parent relationships.
